The weather is here; wish you were beautiful, Billy thought as he stared out the window at the dreary London sky. Ah, but he was - the most beautiful thing Billy had ever laid eyes on. True, Lij had his ice blue eyes. And Orlando has his heartbreaking smile. But Dom… he was the most breathtaking sight those eyes had ever seen. Caught up in the excitement of the locations in New Zealand, and the whole 'spirit of fellowship' for so many years, he often wondered what would happen when they returned to the real world.

His life had always been full of longing - for his native land, his long-dead parents, his youth. At 36, Billy knew he wasn't getting any younger. But did that mean he had to spend his life alone? Always wanting, always needing that…something he never could put his finger on. That is, until he looked around the room of the cast party Peter had thrown for them to all get to know each other. As soon as he had seen Dom, Billy's heart leapt into his throat and he wondered if he would ever breathe again.

Ian was standing next to him, chatting away about the beautiful countryside of Billy's native Scotland when Billy stopped mid-sentence and stared, open-mouthed, at the vision of loveliness. He vaguely remembered Ian chuckling. "Struck by the thunderbolt, eh?" Billy shook his head and turned to stare at Ian. "What are you talking about?" he asked, stealing glances back at Dom. Ian put a fatherly arm around his shoulder.

"The Italians have a saying," Ian quietly explained. "When you see the face of your one true love, you feel as if you've been struck by a thunderbolt. Haven't you ever seen "The Godfather"?" Billy shook his head, only half paying attention to the older man. "What do you mean, one true love?" he asked. Ian smiled. "Young master Dominic, of course," Ian replied. "That look on your face says it all."

Billy shook his head. "But…" he began. "I…I'm not…I've never been…" His voice trailed off. Ian nodded in understanding. "Just because you've never doesn't mean you aren't now," he said gently. "I know what you're feeling. I remember it well." Billy looked up at the man and knew that Ian was right. He was in love. Smiling, Billy asked, "So, great and wise Gandalf…will you teach me? Will you tell me the things I need to know?" And so it began.

It had been a couple of months since Dom had left Los Angeles. Billy had returned to London to finish a project and Dom had flown to Hawaii to film a television pilot. Billy had come home, but Dom was still across the ocean, living it up on the islands. It wasn't as idyllic as he imagined, but Billy was lonely and wanted nothing more than to hold Dom in his arms. Sinking into the leather sofa Dom had picked out for him, Billy switched on the TV and began aimlessly cruising through the channels. He stopped when a familiar face appeared - Dom, on some tropical island, waving at the camera.

Leaning forward, Billy stared in disbelief at Dom's attire. His hair was in its usual Mohawk, bleached lighter by the sun. A light application of black eyeliner framed his blue eyes. The plaid swim trunks hung low on his hips, almost revealing the tattoo. But the thing that caught Billy's eye was the shirt. Pale peach in color, sleeves removed, bottom cut to reveal the smooth flesh of Dom's tanned stomach - with Britney Spears posing provocatively. What the hell?

A beautiful woman sat in a chair, waiting to interview Dom. As he bounced over, flopping down next to her, he raised his hand to wave at the camera, and Billy had to smile once again. On Dom's hand was what would appear to most as a butterfly with fat, round wings. At the end of its antennae were miniature hearts. But, Billy knew what it was, for Dom spent hours drawing the same pattern on his pillowcase one night. It was Billy's initials - Dom's sign for his undying love.

Billy longed to talk to Dom, letting him know that he had seen the interview. He wanted Dom to know he missed him, too. Pacing around, he thought of calling, but knew that if Dom was on the island, he couldn't be reached. He could send flowers to the hotel on the main island, but that would raise other's suspicions, and they weren't ready for the world to know. Looking at the calendar on the wall, Billy smiled. He had the perfect plan - and the opportunity to pull it off.

Opening his laptop, Billy began to hum to himself as he sent an email to Dom. It wasn't the gushing love letter one would expect him to write. Instead, it was short, just one sentence - "Tuesday 9am, WB". With a smile, Billy grabbed his keys and jacket, heading for the door. He was humming the same tune as his cell phone began to ring and he heard the distinct sounds of Elijah's giggle on the other end.

"So, you saw it?" Elijah asked. Billy assured him that he had, and quickly explained his idea to his friend. Lij agreed that it was perfect and told Billy that he would make sure Dom remembered. They talked for a moment before deciding to meet for dinner and Billy hopped into his car, heading for the nearest music store to pick up a copy of the song he now had stuck in his head.

The crew of Sharon Osborne's show was wonderful, providing Billy with breakfast and a comfortable dressing room. He was given a list of questions he would be asked and was told if there was anything he wanted to change, just let them know. When he saw that she planned on asking about his musical talent, Billy smiled. The producer was more than happy to let him sing on the show. Bouncing nervously, he began to warm up his voice.

Dom opened one eye and stared at the alarm clock. For a moment, he couldn't remember why he had set the clock on his day off, and then the phone rang. He grabbed the receiver and grumbled something unintelligible. "Stop being such a bear," Elijah told him. "You have to turn on the TV. Billy's about to be on." At the mention of Billy's name, Dom sat up and searched for the remote. He had no idea what channel the show was on, so he quickly ran through them all until he found it.

Settling back against the pillows, he remembered the phone and picked it up again. "What's up, Lij?' he asked, only to be answered with giggles. Dom rolled his eyes. "Can you and Sean stop for two minutes?" he asked. "You don't want to miss Billy!" Sean's voice came over the receiver. "We won't miss him,' he said. "There's still a couple of minutes. Besides, YOU are the one that's supposed to be watching!" Dom nodded, squealing as Billy was introduced.

He leaned forward, elbows resting on his knees as he watched Billy's every move on the screen. Dom giggled as Sharon asked why Billy hadn't worn his kilt, thinking about the night in New Zealand that he had tried it on - and the reaction he had gotten from Billy when he bent over, his bare ass peeking out from the hem. That was the first night they had spent together and Dom replayed the memory over and over again.

He was thinking about it now, only half concentrating on what Billy was saying. Sliding a hand under the sheet, Dom absently stroked himself, watching Billy's smile as he picked up the guitar. As the low, rich tenor of Billy's voice filled his ears, Dom stroked himself faster. He knew Billy had to have seen the interview - and the shirt. Closing his eyes, Dom leaned back against the headboard, imagining it was Billy touching him, stroking him…loving him as the words washed over him.

Oh baby baby, how was I supposed to know that something wasn't right here Oh baby baby, I shouldn't have let you go and now you're out of sight, yeah show me how you want it to be tell me baby cuz I need to know now, oh because

As the final verse reached his ears, Dom moaned in pleasure, spilling over his hand and onto the sheet covering him. The camera zoomed in on Billy's face and the smile he gave made Dom's heart break. He needed Billy there. He couldn't be without him any longer. Reaching for the phone, he hit the button to make a call, only to hear uncontrolled laughter. He had been so caught up in the moment, Dom had forgotten about Sean and Elijah on the other end.

Blushing, he quickly thought of something to say, only to be interrupted by Sean's voice. "Call him, Dom," he said. "He misses you too." Dom nodded as he said goodbye before placing a call to the airline. He hoped his plan would work, that they could make it happen. After a few calls, he dialed one last number, leaving a message full of love and longing. He knew it could be a while before Billy got his message, but he didn't care. Smiling, Dom lay back down and slowly drifted back to sleep.

The airport was crowded, full of summer travelers hoping to find paradise. Billy smiled, knowing he didn't have to search too hard to find his. His luggage appeared on the carousel and he quickly grabbed it, looking around for the driver that was to meet him. Across the terminal, he saw a sign - Dom's butterfly, drawn in bright blue ink on white posterboard. As Billy approached the man, his bags were taken from him and he followed to the car.

Leaning back in the plush seat, Billy smiled as he remembered the message that waited for him that day. Dom's voice had cracked as he spoke the words to the chorus - My loneliness is killin' me. I must confess I still believe. When I'm not with you I lose my mind. Give me a sign - or better yet, I'll give you one. Delta Flight #541 from LAX, Friday at 3:25. I emailed you the ticket. Please come. I need you. Watching out the window as they approached the hotel, Billy saw a familiar frame leaning against a palm tree. Ah yes…paradise indeed.
