Glenn finally found Shannon sitting in the upper tier of seats in the arena staring aimlessly down at the ring. Glenn leaned on the railing in front of Shannon looking at the young man concerned. "Wanna tell me about it?" He asked.

Shannon didn't respond for the longest time. When he finally did talk Glenn had to strain to hear him because he was speaking so quietly. "Shane's never been into guys, but he used to be alot more tolerant about it. I always have been, but never told Shane cause it makes him uncomfortable. When we got to WCW... it was so different than when we were in the Indy's. The guys were alot more open about their ways. Kevin caught Evan and I not too long after I showed up messing around in the showers and he kinda took us aside and told us what was what... who was into that and who wasn't. It was hard keeping it from Shane, and eventually I just stopped trying.

"Kevin had a thing for Evan... So we were normally wherever the older guys were. Once I stopped worrying about whether Shane found out or not things got a little crazy. Shane started to wonder but would never come out and ask me. With everyone so open you found out who was straight right away. It didn't take the guys long to figure out Shane was and that he wasn't real comfortable around those that went both ways. Some of them got upset and wanted to teach him a lesson but Kevin and Scott told them to back off. They said that he was young and would ease up in time.

"One night we were at a party... I had been hanging around with Page and Kanyon alot. They decided it was time to move it up to the rooms but they couldn't get into theirs cause they were letting one of the Thrillers use it so I said that we could use mine because Shane was still down at the party. I submitted when I was with them and we got into it pretty heavy. They had me tied up to the bed and gagged when Shane walked in.

"Shane went nuts. He thought they were forcing me into something and with the gag on I couldn't tell him it was ok. So Shane being Shane started going off. Called Page and CK names... said they were sick fucks and better get their hands off me. Page and CK just laughed. Page said I was enjoying every second of it and maybe if Shane tried it he'd like it too.

"He grabbed Shane. Shane tried to fight him, but Page is alot bigger than he is. Dallas was pretty hard from playing and rubbed his dick into Shane's stomach. Said that Shane would have a sweet ass... tight and hot. I don't think he woulda done it if Shane hadn't been so nasty when he came in... but Shane thought he had to protect me.

"Shane fought for awhile and CK finally told Page to let him go. Shane and CK were kinda friends from that time they spent together doing the movie. When Page let Shane go CK came over, ungagged me, and let me loose. I tried to tell Shane it was ok... but that only made it worse by then. He was so upset from what Page had done that he wouldn't even listen to me. He said that if I was enjoying that then I was as sick as they were and we shouldn't be friends anymore. He stormed out and wouldn't talk to me for a month. I had to tell him I wouldn't do that anymore to get him to be friends again."

Shannon stopped his face wet with tears. Looking up at Glenn he continued. "I know you don't understand. But Shane is my friend. We've known each other forever. I would never have gotten into WCW if it weren't for Shane. I can't help but think that if he hadn't walked in on us... If Page had handled it differently... I know Shane could have gotten used to the idea... he might never have gotten into it, but he would have least understood and accepted it. I can't turn my back on him... he's my friend.

"I like Bryan. I like him alot. He's always been different from the rest. I thought he just didn't like me in that way cause of my age. I know that some of the guys think I am too young... cause I look so much younger than I am. But, I know some of the guys get off on it too.

"I feel sorta responsible for the way Shane is... but I would never let him hurt Bryan. I wouldn't get into a real relationship unless I was committed to it."

"You realize that Shane may be beyond changing at this point?" Glenn asked quietly.

Shannon nodded sadly, "Yes, I know."

"Shane means the world to me... but if he makes me choose..." Shannon stopped and started staring back at the ring.

"What would you to kiddo? Who would you choose Bryan or Shane?" Glenn asked quietly.

Shannon didn't answer for a long time. "I guess that would depend on who was making me. If it was Shane... it doesn't matter how long we've been friends. I wouldn't hurt Bryan by choosing Shane over him... not with Shane's closed-mindedness."

Glenn looked at Shannon thoughtfully. "Lemmie ask you something... Is there anyone that Shane knows is bi and still likes?"

Shannon nodded, "Kev and Scott... He thinks Scott is just about the greatest thing since women. Before all this happened to him, Evan, and I were talking in our hotel room one night. We were talking about the whole... men sleeping with men thing... Shane was trying to figure out what a man saw in another man that would make him wanna sleep with them. So we were goin on and on speculating what we would like in a guy like we do when we talk about chicks. Evan finally asked him if he HAD to be with a guy who would he choose... he said Scott... or Kevin if he couldn't pick Scott."

Glenn nodded. "Ok, I will remember that. Let's go to the back. I'll talk to Mark and see if we can come up with something. I don't want you to worry about this thing with Bryan... ok? It'll all work out. We would never tease you about something like this." Shannon nodded and getting up followed the big man to the back.
