You don't remember me, but I remember you
I lie awake and try so hard not to think of you
But who can decide what they dream, and dream I do

I believe in you
I'll give up everything just to find you
I have to be with you
To live, to breathe
You're taking over me

Have you forgotten all I know, and all we had
You saw me mourning my love for you, and touched my hand
I knew you loved me then

I believe in you
I'll give up everything just to find you
I have to be with you
To live, to breathe
You're taking over me

I look in the mirror and see your face
If I look deep enough
So many things inside that are
Just like you are taking over

I believe in you
I'll give up everything just to find you
I have to be with you
To live, to breathe
You're taking over me

I believe in you
(I believe in you)
I'll give up everything just to find you
I have to be with you
To live, to breathe
You're taking over me (taking over me)
You're taking over me (taking over me)
You're taking over me

Ty sat in the locker room watching Randy giggling softly down at Dave who was sitting on one of the benches, looking up at Randy with total devotion on his face. Chances gone and opportunities missed floated around in his mind and he wondered briefly if it could have been him that Dave looked at like that. They had known each other for longer than most friendships here, and he'd been presented with many an opportunity to make it into something more, but each time something came to mind that made him hold back.

He stood and walked over to the sinks, splashing cold water on his face before staring at himself in the mirror. He knew what held him back. It wasn't any kind of mystery - at least not to him. Tall, wild hair, intense blue eyes, and a strange love for spiders, encased in a six foot six inch frame. As straightforward as the day is long, not quite what he appears to be, tough and sensitive at the same time was the man going by the name of Sean O'Haire… the man that held his heart and his soul and his ever-waking thought.

The man that was his greatest secret and his most gut-wrenching desire had barely entered his life before he exited out of it. As if looking through a telescope, Ty had watched the man while they were in OVW, always wanting, needing to be closer to him and yet afraid to admit it at the same time. It was so much easier, simpler, safer to want, need, long for Dave. He was a constant in his life. Dave was something that he knew would always be there. Dave was something one could be content with. Unfortunately though, he wasn't Sean and finally Dave got tired of waiting for Ty to decide he wanted something more than friendship and turned to someone that already did.

"They are simply nauseating," Ty heard and looked over at Chris leaning against the sink next to him, glaring at Dave and Randy. Ty smiled and spared the couple a brief glance before looking back into the mirror. "Like you and Jay aren't ever mushy," Ty said quietly and Chris huffed, crossing his arms. "That's different," Chris insisted. Smiling weakly, Ty shook his head then splashed his face again sighing softly. "What's up with the long face? You upset about Dave and Randy?"

Ty rolled his eyes at Chris through the mirror. "Please, if I really wanted Dave I have had plenty of chances." Chris thought about the statement for a moment then nodded, asking the most obvious question. "So if you don't want Dave, who do you want?" He didn't know what came over him. The name was out before he even realized he'd said it. If Chris' eyes hadn't widened he might not even have realized what he'd said. He saw the blonde's mouth open to make a comment, but Ty didn't give him a chance. He pushed past him quickly, almost knocking Jay down in the process as he was headed toward Chris, and Ty hurried out of the locker room.

Finding an empty corner in the catering area Ty sat down, putting his head in his hands, taking deep breaths to try and loosen the tight feeling in his chest. How could he have done that? All this time he'd been keeping his secret and in one thoughtless moment he opened himself for rejection and ridicule. "Ty?" Lifting his head, he saw Chris and Jay standing in front of him looking concerned. "Are you ok, man?" Jay asked and sat down in a chair across from his friend. "No, I'm not ok." Ty rubbed his hands over his head. "I'm tired. I'm tired of wanting and needing and waiting and hoping and dreaming of something that won't ever happen. I'm tired of looking for someone that probably doesn't even know that I am alive, probably doesn't even remember my name, and probably doesn't even care if I exist. I am tired of craving something that I'll never be able to taste. I'm tired of waiting for something I will never be able to claim."

Chris cocked his head to one side frowning. "Why do you say that? Sean's a pretty open minded guy." Ty frowned, eying Chris. "He probably doesn't even know my name." Chris flashed a cocky smile and pulled out his cell phone. "Guess we'll find out huh?" Ty's mouth dropped open when he heard Chris greet whoever answered his call. "Hey bastard," Chris said grinning at Ty who was doing his best to look fierce and not scared out of his mind all at the same time. "Hey, I just learned the most INTERESTING bit of information."

In California Sean leaned back in the chair on his deck, smiling to himself. "You are worse than an old woman." CJ chuckled as a wide grin spread across his face. "Flattery will get you nowhere. Do you wanna know what it is?" Sean took a drink from his water bottle, then nodded before resting it against his chest. "Sure, I'm game… whadya know?" CJ leaned back in his chair watching Ty's face and let his smile slip into a smirk. "I know someone that has a BIGTIME crush on YOU, Mister O'Haire."

As one of Sean's eyebrows lifted the front legs of his chair hit the deck. "Someone there?" Sean's brows wrinkled together as the frown spread across his face. "Can't think of many people there that would care to speak to me, let alone have a crush on me."

Chris smiled looking at Tyson as he heard the confusion on Sean's voice. "Well there is at least one man and this one doesn't even think you know his name."

Sean's frown grew as he reached up and rubbed a hand over his short hair. "So it's someone new." Sean sighed leaning back again. "And here I thought that it was a serious crush. If they are new they don't even know me." Chris lifted an eyebrow at Sean's tone. "I never said that they don't know you. I just said that they think YOU don't know them."

Sean shook his head. "You make no sense." Chris rolled his eyes. "OK. Picture this… tall, tattooed, bald, black beard, shares your intensity." Sean wrinkled his nose. "Travis?" Chris giggled and slapped the table making Tyson jump. "Well he knows your name… and the real one even!" Chris held the phone out to a wide eyed Ty who looked at it, blinking before hesitantly putting it to his ear. "Sean?"

"Travis," Sean said softly and Ty shivered as the sound enveloped him stimulating his every nerve. He felt as if he were about to jump out of his skin. "I know your name, Travis," Sean said chuckling and Ty made a tiny sound, nodding as Jay and Chris giggled at him. "Why don't you come see me while you're out here this week?" Sean suggested and Ty found himself frozen with disbelief.

"Really?" He asked his voice husky and slightly shaky. On the other end Sean's frown slowly began to turn into a smile. "Travis, you are a little big to be invisible in a crowd and I thought that everyone knew that I don't say things I don't mean." Slowly Ty nodded, but remained quiet for a long while, before finally speaking again. "I'd love to come see you while I am in California."

Several days later Ty stood on Sean's back porch overlooking the ocean with nothing but a towel wrapped around his waist as the breeze dried him off from the shower he had just taken. Inside he could faintly hear Sean moving around in the kitchen hopefully making some coffee. Leaning back against the side of the house Ty watched the waves roll up onto the beach and the sun rise in the horizon. Normally he wouldn't be up this early, but technically when one hasn't been to bed yet you can't really count it as being up.

"Here's your coffee, pretty boy," Ty heard and turning his head growled softly at the mostly naked man. "I ain't pretty," Ty growled and Sean shook his head grinning like a loon as Ty took the offered mug. "It's all a matter of interpretation, Travis." After shooting Sean another hot glare, Ty turned his eyes back to the water, and couldn't stop a faint smile from lifting the corners of his lips when Sean's arm snuck around his waist. "You know I'm free this weekend," Sean said softly and Ty turned his head to smile at the man.

Ty turned his body and lifted a free hand to run it over Sean's short hair. Then leaning in pressed his lips to Sean's, moaning softly when the other man pulled him closer. Rubbing against Travis, he felt the younger man shiver. When the kiss broke, Ty stared into Sean's intense eyes losing track of time as the future seemingly played across their depths. "Do you know how long I have waited for you?" Ty whispered, panting softly as he tried to catch his breath.

Sean shook his head seriously as he touched his forehead to Ty's. "No, but it can't be nearly as long as I have waited for someone to look at me like you do, as if I was the single most important thing in their life, as if I was something precious and treasured, as if they loved me."

Again Ty moaned softly as he wrapped both his arms around Sean pulling their bodies even closer together. "But I do love you, Sean O'Haire," Ty whispered softly. "And I would love for you to come to Wrestlemania with me this weekend. So I can show you off to everyone. Because I finally found the man I was looking for." Ty pulled his head back looking from the surf to Sean as a grin parted his lips. "I've always wondered what it was like to fuck on the beach." Sean chuckled and stepped from Ty's embrace, pulling his lover from the porch and towards the pounding surf.

The End
