Glenn sighed and looked at his watch growling when he saw the new arrival was now 20 minutes late. "Explain to me WHY we are waiting for this asshole again?"

"We need his help," Paul reminded sighing.

"WHY?" Glenn asked snapping. "Three of us aren't enough to protect one little boy from his sadistic brother?"

"It isn't Matt," Paul insisted knowing in his heart and soul that his friend couldn't be the reason for Jeff's recent problems.

"You don't KNOW that!" Glenn hollered getting up just as the door opened and the new man walked in. "You're LATE!"

"I'm always late," Kevin said shrugging. Glenn would have gone after him if he hadn't seen the woman's face peak around Kevin's arm.

"I'm sorry it's my fault," she squeaked softly wrapping her hands around her lover's arm afraid the angry man was gonna try and break her in half.

"Can we begin now?" Mark Calloway but in hoping to diffuse the upcoming fight.

""What is there to talk about?" Glenn growled running a hand through his long brown curls. "Something is wrong with Jeff and Matt is responsible!"

"You don't know that!" Paul snapped growling angry himself, but tried to calm down when Mark touched his arm in warning.

"I DO KNOW THAT IT'S MATT!" Glenn screamed. "He's already hurt Jeff once and now he's trying it again!"

Passion flinched and wrapped her hands tighter around Kevin's arm. "Kev he's gonna lose it," she warned and Kevin nodded.

"Glenn why don't we talk about this?" Kevin asked soothingly, but the younger man only growled. "You people talk and I'll DO!" Glenn then turned and brushing past the couple stormed from the room. Kevin looked down at his girlfriend who chewed on her lip before answering his silent question. "It's ok. He's just concerned."

Mark watched the couple intrigued as a pair of smoky gray eyes turned toward him. Mark heard Paul's breath catch as the girl studied him. Finally though she smiled and looking up at Kevin said, "I like him."

"I thought that you would," Kevin replied softly before leaning down and kissing the top of her head.

Mark felt Paul relax at hearing her words and again wondered about this new woman. She was quite short and petite not coming any higher than Kevin's elbow. Her hair was long and blonde. Mark guessed that it fell almost to her waist.

It was her eyes though that intrigued him the most. They were big and gray seeming to have a life of their own. When she'd been studying him earlier he'd gotten a strange feeling like you did when you could feel someone watching you, but at the same time he'd felt this warmth spread through him soothing his uneasiness. There was definitely something different about this woman.

Mark watched as Paul stood and almost immediately the woman hurried into his open arms. "Thank you for coming," Mark heard his lover whisper to her. "I don't think that we can get to the bottom of this without your help." Mark was even more intrigued than ever. "Anytime Jean-Paul," she replied softly, "you know that."

"Why don't you tell us what's goin' on," Kevin suggested. Paul nodded then took his seat again next to Mark as Kevin sat in an oversized chair pulling the woman into his lap.

"I have a better idea," Mark drawled. "How 'bouts someone introduce the lovely on Kevin's lap to me and THEN we'll tell you what's up." Paul blushed slightly as he introduced the two. "Mark this is Kev's girlfriend Passion. Passy baby this redneck is Mark Calloway."

"It's nice to meet you Mr. Calloway," Passion replied softly smiling almost shyly.

"Your name is Passion darlin'?" Mark asked surprised. Passion blushed and grinned. "My parents were… kind of unique. They liked to travel all over the world. They were deep in a rain forest once when they came across this breathtaking waterfall. Mom said that they were overcome with such a passion and longing for each other at the marvelous sight that they made love on the riverbank. When I was born 9 months later they decided to name me after that experience so they'd never forget it."

"So they named you Passion," Mark finished blinking astounded.

"So they named me Passion Waterfall actually," she corrected smiling bigger.

"It's a damn good thing that they didn't make you in the back of a pickup," Mark teased and she nodded her agreement.

"I had an older brother named Desert Moon," she offered.

"Had?" Mark questioned picking up on the use of the past tense."

"He died when I was 20," she informed him looking down at her hands.

"Damn darlin' I'm sorry," Mark swore. "Hey where was he while they were fuckin' by the water?"

"I believe that he was watching them," she answered blushing deeply. "Like I said my parents are… unique."

When Paul elbowed him Mark looked over and seeing his lover's frown changed the subject. "So why does Paul think that you can help us with Jeff?" Mark asked scowling when Paul elbowed him again.

Passion saw it and shook her head. "It's ok Jean-Paul. He won't tell anyone. I can… sense things about people."

"You mean like readin' minds?" Mark asked doubtfully.

"Not exactly," she replied. "Do you ever watch Star Trek: The Next Generation?" When Mark nodded she continued. "Well I'm like Deanna the ship's counselor. I sense feelings and emotions. I can tell if someone's lying or upset or hurt."

"Huh," Mark grunted cocking his head off to one side. "I can see how that'll come in handy. Does that mean that you can tell us if Matt is responsible for what's wrong with Jeff?"

"Well I can tell you if he's bothered about something. I can tell you if he's… in a bad place." She responded "I can tell you if he feels guilty about something, but not what he feels guilty about."

Finally satisfied Mark nodded thinking that he now understood. "Now can someone tell us what's going on?" Kevin asked and Paul began to explain.

"You two know what all went down at Christmas right? Glenn, Jeff, and Sean got together. Matt and Crash got jealous. Matt hurt Jeff and we hurt him and Crash." When the two nodded he continued.

"Well after the dust settled Vince suspended Matt and Crash without pay. Matt went home to Carolina and Jeff moved into Glenn and Sean's place in Tennessee. At first things were great, but after a month Jeff began getting quiet. Once he got over the hurt and anger he began to miss his brother. Things hadn't always been bad between the two of them and for alotta years they were all each other had."

"I gave Matt about a month to cool off then I went down to see him. I've been there and done the whole 'hurting the one you love the most in the name of what you think is bettering the company thing' so I knew where his head was at. By the time I got down there Matt had enough time to realize what he had done to his baby brother and predictably felt like the world's biggest scum."

"I told him that I understood why he did what he did and explained the hell that I'd put Sean through all in the name of the WWF and getting DX over. When he realized that I really did understand he opened up and we talked for quite awhile. I admit that I encouraged him to call Jeff and try to patch things up."

"By the time he called Jeff was more than happy to kiss and make up. In face he was so eager that he moved back into Matt's almost immediately and gave Glenn and Sean little to no say in the matter. Understandably Glenn was furious, but since both he and Sean were back on the road full time by then he knew that there was little that he could do about it."

"When I went to see them, Jeff looked happy and healthy. I swear! Matt and Jeff were both scheduled to return within a month to 6 weeks, but I tried to get down there as much as I could. I even offered to take Glenn several times, but he refused. Sean finally told me that they hadn't talked a lot to Jeff since he'd moved out because whenever they called Matt would always say that Jeff was busy. The one time Glenn did get to talk to him and told Jeff that he wanted to visit, Jeff told him not to without giving him any reason."

"When Jeff finally came back to work, he was exhausted from running around and taking little time to rest. Glenn had a cow and blamed Matt. Jeff got pissed and told Glenn to stay out of his relationship with his brother. That was 2 months ago and since then Jeff's health has rapidly gone downhill. 2 weeks ago they hospitalized him. Jeff refuses to say why. Matt swears to me that he had food poisoning. He says that Jeff isn't taking enough rest time and that he's tried to get Jeff to spend more time with Glenn and Sean, but he refuses."

"I have no clue what's wrong, but Matt isn't hurting Jeff. PLEASE Passy you gotta help me."

When Passion saw Glenn earlier she'd been almost overwhelmed by his anger and intense fear. She'd talked to Sean the night before and sensed his fear also. Sighing she cleared her thoughts and tried to focus on Paul. Whatever was going on she could feel the upheaval it was causing inside him. He was racked with this guilt that she couldn't think of a reasoning for."

"You really believe in Matt Hardy Jean-Paul?" She asked and felt his conviction before he ever swore yes. Taking a deep breath she recleared her thoughts and after gripping Kevin's hand tightly said, "take me to meet the Hardy Boyz."
