Angel was sitting on the couch with her boyfriend Bryan Clark watching the end of Raw.

Looking up at Bryan Angel said, "You know Sweetling Raw could really use a little Kronik action."

Bryan laughed before kissing the top of Angel's head, "You know how it goes, Angel, Brian and I have to get back into shape and prove we aren't going to fall apart before Vinnie Mac will look at us."

Impatient to see him back wrestling again she asked, "And you are going to start doing this when?"

Shaking his head at her impatience Bryan smiled down at her before saying, "We have a booking in a couple days."

Angel was excited to hear this, "Cool! Do I get to go?!?"

Before Bryan could answer the phone rang. Looking at the clock he was a little annoyed. He couldn't imagine who would be calling at this time of night. Picking up the phone he heard alot of people in the background.

"Hello?" he said waiting for someone to speak.

Angel was flipping channels looking for something more exciting than bull riding when Bryan handed her the phone.

"It's for you, baby," he said handing her the phone.

Looking up at Bryan surprised Angel took the phone.

"This is Angel," she said into the phone tentatively.

Angel heard a gravely voice on the other end of the line, "Yes this is the bartender at The Metal Spike... do you know a Jeff Hardy?"

"Jeff?? Yes I know Jeff," she said surprised. Angel had no idea why he would be calling about Jeff… as far as Angel knew he was at Raw with his brother.

"Well you might wanna come get him... he's about to get himself killed," the bartender advised. "That guy that answered the phone is he big?"

Eyeing Bryan Angel replied still confused, "Yes 6'6, 290 pounds and very muscular."

"He got a friend his size?" the man wanted to know.

"Yes… he's 6'6 296 and mostly muscle," she responded.

"Good you might wanna bring them with you," the man advised

Angel was becoming worried, "Ok... I'll be there as soon as possible."

"You might wanna hurry... I can't protect him here for very long," the man cautioned.

Angel hung up the phone with a confused expression on her face. "Bryan have you ever heard of the Metal Spike?"

"Is THAT where that guy was from?" Bryan asked his expression carefully guarded.

"Yeah he says Jeff is there and I need to come get him before he gets killed. He also said that I need to bring you and another friend your size." Angel said disturbed that she couldn't read Bryan's thoughts.

Bryan nodded not looking at Angel. "At the very least... where is Hall this week?"

"Him and May are off somewhere and Kevy is... uhh occupied," Angel replied.

"Damn...," Bryan swore, "Chuck's at Raw... Hey why the hell isn't the little shit at Raw?"

Deciding Bryan would tell her what was on his mind when he was ready she replied, "You are asking the wrong person that question Bryan. I am gonna go get changed... what kind of bar is this?"

Absentmindedly Bryan replied, "Put on jeans and one of my T-shirts... and that black leather jacket I got you. I'll be back to change in a sec."

"Okie," she said heading back to the bedroom to change.

Angel was just tying her shoelaces when Bryan came in the bedroom. Without looking at her Bryan replied, "Dale and Brian Lee are visiting so they are coming... I wish we didn't have to take you."

Angel was surprised. "Why? I have to go Bryan they called me."

Opening the closet doors Bryan stood staring for awhile as if in thought. "I know but this isn't a nice place baby. I don't know what Jeff is doing there, but I may kill the little shit for having them call you."

Angel watched Bryan dress... he was putting on his tight black jeans and his skintight black shirt. He called them his intimidation clothes. He normally only wore then when he was making an appearance as part of Kronik or if she asked him to. "Is Jeff in danger Bryan?"

Bryan turned and finally looked at her his expression still guarded. "At that place baby everyone is in danger. Come on... the guys are meeting us there."

Angel tried reaching Matt on the cell phone while Bryan was driving them to the bar, but she couldn't reach him. "Mathew still isn't picking up. Something has to be wrong."

"He may be meeting with Hunter or Mark or whomever he wrestled tonight," Bryan said trying to soothe her.

Angel muttered Lance Storm as she stared out the window. Pulling into a parking spot Bryan shut off the car and looked around for his three friends. Angel had met Brian Adams but had yet to meet Brian Lee and Dale. Looking over at Angel he could see the concern on her face.

Bryan looked over at Angel. He had a bad feeling about this little trip and could tell his silence was worrying her only more. "We're here, baby."

Frustrated Angel said, "Where is here? It looks like we're in the middle of downtown."

"We are. There's the guys come on." Bryan got out of the car and waited for Angel to join him.

Getting out of the car Angel walked over to take Bryan's hand as he led her over to his friends. She stood silently and watched the four men greet each other Dale and Lee getting hugs from BC. Adams came over and put his hand on the back of Angel's head looking at her worried.

Brian could tell that Angel was obviously worried. "What is your little friend doing here? This is no place for him."

Angel leaned back into BA's hand as the older man used his thumb to stroke the back of her head in comfort. Her mind was worrying about her young friend. She was hesitant to tell them why she thought he was there.

Bry overheard the question and shook his head at his friend. "Angel, when we go inside I want you to stay beside BA or I at ALL TIMES. I don't care what is going on with Jeff... Dale and Lee will take care of him."

Angel nodded her understanding and followed between Bry and Brian as Lee and Dale walked one on each side of her. Bryan led the way towards what appeared to be an abandoned building. Stopping at a wooden door Bry looked over his shoulder at Angel and Brian one last time before entering. As the stepped through the door Angel felt a cold chill run through her as if she knew bad things happened there. Instinctively she paused not wanting to move forward.

Brian leaned down and whispered reassurances in she ear. "It'll be ok Angel Eyes... go on we gotta find your Little Rainbow."

Bry had paused not far from the door and was scanning the room looking for Jeff. Angel walked up and standing behind him put a hand on the small of his back seeking comfort from him in any way she could get it. Lee and Dale stepped around the trio and started walking through the crowd looking for Jeff also. Angel was startled when a man came up and started talking to Kronik members as if he knew them and was even more surprised to hear Bryan answer as if they were long time friends.

"Long time no see," the stranger greeted.

Reaching out Bryan shook his hand, "Hey man! Yeah it's been awhile."

The stranger studied the Kronik members thoughtfully, "I didn't think you two were into this anymore."

BA shrugged, "You know how it is... we still do when the mood hits us. But we're actually here to get someone tonight."

Raising an eyebrow the man asked, "Oh maybe I can help... what's he look like?"

"'Bout six foot. Maybe 200 pounds. Multicolored hair," Bryan responded describing Jeff as best he could.

The stranger nodded, "Aaaaaaaaaaaaah yeah I know him. I think Spike is hiding him. He had to gag the little shit to keep him from getting his ass killed."

Bry and Brian looked at each other as if communicating silently between the two of them.

"Thanks man," Bryan said.

Angel started to follow the Kronik members towards the manager's office when she felt a hand on her shoulder stopping her and forcing her to turn around. Turning Angel shivered at the sight of the man in front of her. Outwardly he looked fairly normal. He wasn't as tall as Bryan was or as muscular. His hair was dyed a bluish black. It was the look in his eyes though that frightened her.

They were ice cold almost devoid of any emotion at all. There was a flicker of something there but it wasn't anything she was familiar with. She tried to yank her arm free but his grip was deceptively strong and all she managed to do was hurt herself.

Yanking her closer to him the man grabbed her other arm and lowering his head sniffed her as an animal would its food before purring in her ear. "You're frightened... I like that. You're innocent... I like that even more. I can see why Clark picked you. You respond wonderfully... every clicker of fear and pain can be seen on your face. I would love to tear you from front to back and listen to you scream... to watch you bleed. He started to lower his face but was stopped by the man Bryan had been talking to earlier."

"I wouldn't. Clark doesn't share his treasures well." The stranger from earlier had walked up knowing Bryan's friend was out of her league. She obviously didn't belong in the bar... she looked too sweet and innocent.

Angel could feel her whole body trembling. Tears were welling up in her eyes and she could feel the man hardening against her belly. Just then Bry and Brian showed up with an expression on their faces similar to the one that had just terrified her.

BA spoke quietly, "Let her go."

Bryan extended a hand signaling her to come to him but she couldn't force herself to and instinctively took a step back as if trying to escape what she saw in him. For a second there was a look of pain on Bryan's face as if she had slapped him but was gone again so quickly she wasn't sure she had seen it at all.

Bryan reached out to grab her but stopped when a multicolored bullet came ripping towards them in the form of Jeff Hardy. "Don't you fucking touch her!" The young man screamed.

Angel's terrified mind found it hard to grasp the fact that Jeff was rescuing her when it was him she had come to help. "Jeffy..." she asked unsure.

Jeff turned to look at his friend and reaching out to take her arm didn't even flinch when she shied away from him. As if by magic Angel watched as a hard man she didn't recognize transformed into the loving young boy she knew. "Come on, sweetling, we need to get you out of here. You should never have found out this place exists."

Taking her hand Jeff led her through the crowd and out of the building. Angel could only hold her tears 'til they got out of the building. Feeling hands on her shoulders Angel shrieked and would have fallen as she spun around if it hadn't been for Jeff catching her. She saw Bryan standing behind her looking at her. His face was covered by a cold mask she wasn't used to and she burrowed back further into Jeff's arms.

"Shh, It's just Bryan... he won't hurt you." Jeff said trying to calm his extremely upset friend.

"Jeff if you have a hotel in town maybe you should take her there for the evening," BA responded concerned for Angel's mental stability at this point. He knew they had made a mistake in bringing her along.

At the sound of BA's voice Angel turned to see him looking at her sadly. Nodding in agreement with Brian Jeff turned Angel around and led her towards his car. Once her back was turned Bryan let his mask drop... the pain of her terrified rejection evident in his features.

"Angel..." Bryan whimpered.

BA put his arms around his friend's shoulders. "We knew this day would come man. Give her time... let the kid take care of her tonight and in the morning we will get everything settled. Where the hell'd the kid come from anyway?"

Lee shrugged before answering. "All of a sudden he came flying out of the managers office like a bat outta hell. I assume Spike let him go."

BC leaned back into BA's arms seeking his lover's comfort. "I wish I knew what was up with that kid.... what the hell was he doing there anyway?"

"Why don't I drive you home and stay the night with you. Dale you wanna take Lee back to my place?" Brian suggested

Nodding Dale took BA's keys from him ad Bryan was led to his car.

The drive back to Bryan's house was quiet as Bryan was lost in thought. When they reached the house Bryan followed BA to the house and inside fell despondently into a chair cradling his head in his hands. "Oh God I'm going to lose her."

BA sank down on the couch and looked at his long time lover concerned. "You don't know that BC... that girl is crazy about you."

Bryan shook his head knowing he was right. "I should have never taken her there. I don't know what I was thinking. Oh God I'll die. I knew I didn't disserve her."

Concerned Brian replied, "You're wrong... she's perfect for you."

Bryan was too upset to listen to his friend though. "No, I don't disserve her. She's sweet... and loving. She's innocent. She just loves with all her heart. When I'm with her I feel worthy. She looks at me with those big brown eyes filled with so much love. I never thought I would find someone who would look at me like that... like I'm some dream man. The first time I saw her I had to have her... I was like a moth drawn to the flame. Her innocence and optimism just grabbed me. I knew better."

"Sometimes I lie awake at night just so I can feel her in my arms. When she first moved in I was afraid if I closed my eyes that I'd wake up and she'd be gone. I never thought I would be given someone so good."

"BC, you should have told her about us... about your past." BA chided his friend.

Bryan shook his head disagreeing, "I couldn't risk it."

"So, you've become ashamed of me?" Brian asked bowing his head.

"NO!" Bryan looked at BA shocked. "How could you think that? I just... you can't understand. You've never loved a woman... you've never even been interested in one."

BA shook his head in denial, "I wouldn't say that... your Angel intrigues me. She is certainly one of a kind."

As if he didn't hear BA Bryan went on, "She's everything... If I lose her..."

"You won't, baby I swear." Getting up Brian pulled his love out of his chair and led him to the bedroom where they laid quietly all night. Neither man talked or slept... instead they just laid there... one man giving comfort to the other.

After pulling away from the Metal Spike Jeff drifted from anger to worry as he took Angel back to his hotel room. She had no business being there. He knew that Angel had no idea about Bryan and Brian's relationship. However, he also knew that she was aware of other man/man couples and had no problem with it. He suspected that Bryan had misinterpreted her sweetness and didn't tell her from fear that she would leave him.

Jeff knew alot more about Bryan that the man suspected. Lately Jeff had been experimenting down darker paths that he found out the Kronik members had indulged in heavily in the past. His sole purpose for going tonight was to insure that they were through with that so he would know whether or not his friend was safe. He didn't enjoy it enough to become as involved as they had been, but he did understand it's allure and hoped that Angel would too.

At the hotel Jeff led his silent friend through the lobby into the elevator where they had another quiet trip up to the room. When they finally reached the hotel room he wasn't surprised to see Matt and Shane sitting on a bed waiting for him. Raw wasn't that far away and their matches had been early in the night.

Spotting Angel Matt and Shane immediately knew that something had gone wrong. Matt being the leader immediately took charge pulling Angel down into his lap where she curled up gratefully but still silently.

"What happened?" Matt asked.

Jeff started ranting. "Oh, the stupid fuckers called Bryan's house and told Angel to come get me… I was causing trouble. Apparently neither Bryan nor Brian have many brains because they came and brought Angel with them. Needless to say it was a bad move. Some freak got hold of her and scared the fuck out of her. By the time I got there she was so fucking terrified she flinched when she saw me."

Shane got up and angrily started pacing the room. "Damnit to hell I knew you shouldn't have gone alone."

Jeff looked at Shane and spoke with a maturity well beyond his years. "Why so I could have two shell-shocked people on my hands?"

Shane looked at Jeff exasperated, "I think I can handle myself Jeff I am older than you ya know."

Jeff continued on speaking as if he were the mature one in the room. "This has nothing to do with age. Angel is older then all four of us and look what happened! This is about experience. Have you ever met someone who enjoyed rape? And I do mean getting raped not being raped. They get off on the pain and the bleeding. Have you ever met someone that could only get off if the person was so fucking terrified they can't move? Those are the people that were in that club."

Matt looked at his younger brother shocked. "Have you done these things?"

Jeff just looked at his brother quietly for a few minutes. "Not that extreme. But I've experimented with pain... giving and receiving. There is something indescribable about it."

Worried Matt studied his brother, "You enjoy it?"

Jeff shrugged, "It's ok... if I have the right partner yes... if not... no. At one time the Kronik boys were very into it though. The guy that grabbed Angel was a real freak… I don't think they were as into it as he is… but Bryan Clark especially was pretty close at one point. From what I've heard he isn't into it now. From what everyone there said it's been years since he was there. He had some problems back then... but once he got those settled he stopped going."

Angel spoke quietly, "That wasn't my Bryan."

The men looked at Angel startled… they didn't realize she was even paying attention. Sitting up straight Angel kissed Matt on the cheek and moved off his lap.

Angel continued ignoring their stares. "I know Bryan. When that guy grabbed me I was so scared…. It was the look in his eyes… like he felt nothing. Then I realized that the more scared I got the harder he became I knew he was trouble. He said he was gonna rip me from front to back. He said he was gonna enjoy watching me scream and bleed."

"When Bryan came up I thought I was saved… but then I looked at him and there was a flicker there, I don't know what it was because he hid it too fast. Then there was just this cold hard mask. I couldn't find my Bryan anywhere. I didn't like it."

Shane looked at Angel worried now about her. This was all more than he was used to. "Angel do you think Bryan would hurt you?"

Angel looked at Shane who had moved to sit next to Jeff like he was crazy. "Bryan would never hurt me… not my Bryan anyway."

Shane continued drilling her. "Has he ever gotten… weird during sex? Asked you to do something you weren't comfortable with?"

Angel sighed frustrated with the younger men. "No, that isn't my Bryan. As a matter of a fact he is just the opposite… it drives me nuts!"

Jeff looked at Matt still worried. "Angel Bryan isn't the guy you think he is."

Angel was angry now. "And just what the hell do you mean by that? I heard all your talk and I am telling you that isn't my Bryan."

Jeff shook his head determined to get through to his friend. "Angel it happened… and still may. Glenn told me that him and Brian are still together and they get pretty rough sometimes."

Angel was rapidly growing frustrated with her friends. Getting up off the bed it was her turn to pace. "Shit so you people think I'm dumb? I mean I know Bryan does. Hell I've known him and BA were lovers long before we started dating. All you have to do is see them watch each other and it's obvious. As far as the rough stuff now… what do I care. He doesn't try it with me yet and I know that if he did and I got scared he would stop. Bryan loves me.

"I don't know what happened before… I didn't know Bryan then. I do know people change. I also know that the only reason someone goes to a place like that is because they are hurting. There is something inside them that hurts so much they almost have to have it beaten or ripped outta them. Or they've done something so wrong that they can't stand but to be punished for it.

"Everyone has demons. I love Bryan and that is that."

Matt looked at Angel doubtful. "Then why did you shy away?"

Shaking her head Angel rubbed her hands over her face tiredly. "Because for a split second whatever he was trying to get rid of years ago was there… and it scared me. For a second he was a completely different person and instead of dealing with it he hid it. That is bad… even I know that."

Shane asked, "What are you gonna do Angel Girl?"

Angel looked at Shane and smiled. "Get some sleep. In the morning someone will have you take me back home to Bryan so we can talk. I love him and I'm not leaving him now."

Nodding the boys accepted her decision. They all agreed it was time to get some rest... Angel snuggled up with Jeff and Matt and Shane curled up in the other bed all four quickly falling asleep.

When Angel woke up in the morning she couldn't move her left arm. The boys took her to the doctor and found out that she had injured her shoulder. The doctor put her in a brace. She could tell he didn't believe her story about falling in the shower especially when he saw the huge bruises on both arms, but she wasn't volunteering any information. Once they got out of there Angel had the guys take her straight to Bryan. They wanted to come in with her, but she refused saying Brian Adams was probably there and she needed time alone with her men.

Inside the house Angel went straight to the bedroom. The two men had finally closed their eyes around sunrise and were still sleeping. Walking over she sat on the end of the bed and watched them sleep for a long while. Brian Adams was laying flat on his back with BC laying on top of him… his head nestled in the center of Brian's chest and BA's arms were around his friend. If she wasn't sure about the level of love between the two men before she was now.

Angel liked BA. He had never been anything but nice to her despite the fact that Bryan insisted on hiding their relationship around her like it was some dirty thing. That would be stopping. She had no problem with the it and thought it was ridiculous that they weren't open around her.

BA was the first to wake up and was a little shocked to see her sitting on the end of the bed watching them. "Hey Angelface."

"Hey BA," she greeted quietly watching Bryan still sleeping.

"How long have you been there?" He mumbled trying to wake up.

"A couple hours," she replied shrugging.

"You should have woken us up," BA insisted.

"Why? You two looked tired… besides I enjoyed watching you sleep. You two look beautiful together. You obviously love each other a lot." Angel couldn't take her eyes off Bryan… she really did love the man more than she knew how to express.

A lazy grin slipped onto Brian's face. "Yeah… you're cool with it then?"

Angel nodded. "Uh huh… I have been for awhile now."

"You knew??" Brian asked surprised.

Angel glanced up at BA momentarily. "I suspected. I know about Kevin and Scott so I recognized the signs. I'm sorry he made you hide it… I feel like it's my fault."

Brian shook his head in denial. "No… it isn't. My baby's had it rough. He was just too scared to lose you. I understood that. You are really good for him and he loves you so much. Does this mean you're staying? I think it would kill him if you left."

Getting up Angel moved to sit on the left side of the bed closer to the top. Reaching over she stroked Bryan's hair absently before answering BA's question. "I never intended to leave. He just scared me last night is all. He was so cold and so far removed from my Bryan I didn't know what to do. And when that guy grabbed me… I was so scared. All I wanted was to be in Bryan's arms, but then when he came he was someone else. I didn't know what to do. It figures Jeff would be the one to come to the rescue… I learned long ago not to try and figure him out."

"What was he doing there?" Brian asked still curious.

Laughing Angel looked up at Brian. "He was checking you two out. He heard about your uh past and the guys decided they better make sure I was safe around you two. Apparently all his questions pissed off some people."

"What happened to your arm?" he asked noticing it was hurt.

Looking down angel shrugged with her good shoulder. "It happened last night when that guy grabbed me. I have two huge bruises on each arm from where he was squeezing too."

"I'll kill him," Bry whispered menacingly.

Startled at the low growl Angel looked down to see a pair of beautiful blue eyes looking at her. Shaking her head she ran her hand over his jaw. "No baby… I want you to promise me you'll never go back there… it isn't good for you."

"He has to pay for hurting you," BC insisted

Sadly Angel shook her head. "No, baby, he doesn't. If you want to make it better then hold me in your arms. Stop hiding things from me… I'm not a child. I don't care about what you did or who you were. I care about what you do now and who you are. From what I see you are beautiful inside and out. I don't need revenge Bryan… I just need you."

Sitting up Bryan looked over at his partner. "And BA?"

Angel slipped over the bed to curl up in Bry's arms.

Angel smiled at the two men. "I like BA. I have no problem with your relationship or with anything in it. If I'm really lucky someday you'll trust me enough to let me watch you two together."

Choked with emotion Bryan looked at his lover over the top of Angel's head seeing BA was studying Angel intently. "You would want to do that?"

Angel laughed… they really did think that she was totally clueless. "Of course. Why wouldn't I? Watching two people in love making love is a beautiful thing. Just because you are men doesn't make it dirty. Besides I have watched before… I've seen the Boyz fuck in all sorts of combinations. I even got to watch Scott and Kevin together once… It was amazing."

Shutting his eyes Bryan tightened his grip on Angel and buried his face in her hair. He couldn't believe this beautiful woman was willing to overlook all the scars of his past and just simply love him.

BA felt himself smile as he watched Bryan. He now understood exactly why he loved this woman so much. He had a feeling he may even grow to love her himself.

Angel felt her eyes tear over as Brian reached up and stroked the side of her face with one big hand. There was a look of longing there as if a woman accepting him and Bryan for what they were was a foreign notion to him. She didn't know who had hurt the big remarkable man… but she was going to do her best to fix it.

Closing her eyes she simply let herself enjoy being back in Bryan's arms… right where she knew she belonged.

The End!
