CJ walked up the ramp gritting his teeth. The DQ loss of his match with Taker put the perfect ending on an already rotten day. Being the last one out of the ring, he put up with the jeers from the few remaining fans wanting only to get to the back, retrieve his gear, and get the hell away from people. As he walked through the curtain he was greeted with the site of Undertaker lip locked with Spike Dudley.

"Jesus take it to a room will ya?" Chris muttered, but the two men didn't even hear him too engrossed in their kissing. Proceeding towards his locker room, Chris didn't get far before he ran into Edge and Christian who were also lip locked and Rhyno who was watching them grinning.

"What the fuck is wrong with you people… find a room already!" Chris griped but kept walking hoping he could make it back to his locker room without seeing anyone else.

Unfortunately that didn't happen. He ran across the Hardy's who were more naked than clothed trying to fuck literally in the middle of the hallway. Test and Stacy were cuddled on top of a table chattering with Billy and Torrie who were also cuddled leaning against a wall across from them.

He saw Kane who was twirling a giggling Crash Holly around in the air… Chris was afraid to ask what the hell the Dudley's were doing when he saw them because he wasn't sure what they were attempting was possible on top of one of their flimsy tables. The Game was growling at X-Pac, who was looking up at him with puppy dog eyes; from the glint in Hunter's eyes hostility wasn't the emotion he was feeling.

"It didn't fuckin take THEM long to get back together," He muttered to himself. He didn't really blame Hunter though. Stephanie McMahon was a slut and Trips deserved better than what The Billion Dollar Whore had been giving him. "They could at LEAST make up in private though."

He almost considered stopping to watch Lita and Trish, but they shut the locker room door before he could get a good look. "Just my luck," he grumbled.

Finally reaching his locker room Chris stormed in throwing his belts down and slamming the door shut just for good measure.

"I HATE VALENTINE'S DAY!!" He screamed at the top of his lungs thinking he was alone.

"Why the hostility Chris," He heard a voice ask and turning he groaned when he realized who it was. "You should take your negative… and make it into a positive."

"Page if you don't drop the act my fist is gonna shove your new teeth down your fuckin throat," CJ growled, but Page just laughed not intimidated in the least. "And that isn't gonna be a good thing… it's gonna be a REALLY PAINFUL bad thing!"

"What's wrong Champ… don't have a Valentine?" Dallas asked grinning at CJ and Chris wondered if you could be blinded from glare that was coming off the whiteness of those teeth.

"NO," Chris growled and plopped down on the bench. "Page can't you PLEEEEEEEASE drop the gimmick."

Dallas laughed and nodded, "Sorry man it's a habit."

"It's all right," Chris said sighing with relief. "It's just been a shitty day and I'm not in the best of moods."

"Valentine's Day isn't all that great when you are single," Page agreed before taking a sip from the water bottle he was holding.

"Where's Kim?" Chris asked innocently.

"Off with her other other-half," Page said watching Chris.

"Her other other-half?" Chris repeated confused.

"Yeah Tylene… used to be Major Gunns," Page offered grunting at the shock on Chris' face.

"SHIT man!" Chris exclaimed. "I didn't know Kim went that way. I thought you two were like… exclusive."

"Nah," Page replied shrugging. "We both have other relationships… well NORMALLY we do."

"So you're single too huh?" Chris asked sighing with relief that he wasn't the only one.

"Yeah, last year I was with someone. CK and I normally double date on Valentine's day, but since he's out hurt Shane and Shannon got the day off and they're going down to visit him to cheer him up."

Chris sighed trying not to think about last year… even though it had been in the back of his head all day. "Yeah I had a date last year too… but he dumped me the fuckin loser."

"REALLY?" Page asked surprised. "I didn't know you went that way."

"He was my first," Chris admitted blushing which highly intrigued Page.

"Mind me asking who it was," Page asked curiously.

"No, but only if you tell me who YOURS was," Chris said also curious.

"Mike Sanders," Page said taking another swig of the water and wishing it were something stronger.

"I was with Rock," Chris whispered and tried to pretend his eyes didn't water at just the mention of his ex-lover. It still hurt to think of their break up. He'd thought that they had something special.

"Dwayne dumped you to go out with KURT?!" Page asked surprised. "God that guy must be an idiot."

Chris chuckled and flashed a watery smile at Page. "You don't have to say that."

"Why not kid it's true," Page said quietly. "You have 10 times the looks and class that Kurt does… but then I think you have more than Dwayne too, which is PROBABLY the reason he dumped you."

"Whadya mean?" Chris asked sniffling.

"Chris, you are ten times Dwayne Johnson. You are easy on the eyes. You have a wonderful personality. You have more in-ring talent than he will EVER have. You completely show him up and he knows it. He can't compete with you and for someone like The Rock… that's a problem. He can't STAND not being the star in the relationship. Kurt may be a main-eventer, but he'll NEVER be The Rock and they both know it." Dallas picked up an abandoned damp wash cloth he'd seen Lance drop earlier before rushing off for his date with Raven and walked over to Chris. Sitting down next to him, Page gently wiped the tears off Chris' face and kissed his forehead before continuing.

"For some of us being the STAR in the relationship isn't an issue. There are those of us who know our place in the world and realize that there are more important things between two people than which one of them gets the best crowd response. Like I said The Rock is a fool."

Chris looked up at Page. His big blue eyes were watching Dallas intently as he considered what the older man had said to him. Dallas raised a finger and ran it under one of Chris' eyes catching one last stubborn tear.

"I think that you've shed enough of these for that fool. How about you let me take you out and show you how you deserve to be treated?" Dallas said softly and smiled at the hopeful glint in CJ's eyes.

Chris nodded and hurried into the showers smiling happily. Once he was ready the two men left the room and Page took Chris' hand making the younger man blush. They spotted Austin leaning against his truck drinking beers and glaring at his wife who was standing across the parking lot kissing and giggling with Stephanie.

"Happy Fuckin' Valentine's Day," He muttered at the two passed before spotting their joined hands. "SHIT not you two too!"

Chris just smiled and scooted closer to Page. Stopping he smiled at the grumpy older man saying, "You know Steve I think it's gonna be a happy day after all."

Unable to resist Page said, "And that's not a bad thing…"

"It's a good thing," Chris finished then sighed as Page pulled him in for their first kiss.
