He was about to go out and buy himself a strong of garlic to wear around his neck. Every time he turned around Paul was there… watching him, brushing up against him, and even going so far as to give him things. As if that wasn't bad enough Randy was mysteriously absent lately and when he was around he smiled at him with that little boy grin on his face that told you he was up to some mischief. Deciding that he was losing his mind, Dave had gone to Jay to ask him what was going on with Randy or if he had noticed him acting strange lately, but the little brat just grinned at him. When he'd seen Paul talking to Mark earlier, he knew that he was in trouble. Paul generally avoided Mark unless they were talking storyline stuff and they had no storylines together these days. Finally he had reached his breaking point, and once the show was over hid himself in a different hotel so no one could find him.

Of course Randy did…

He'd opened the door expecting it to be someone with his extra towels so he could take a shower, and instead found Randy standing there with food. "I knew that you'd forget to eat so I brought us something."

Dave poked his head out into the hallway and saw that his lover was alone. Somewhat reluctantly he stepped back letting the other man in and watched him cross to the table with their food before shutting and locking the door. He didn't bother to ask how Randy found him. They'd been together for so long that it would be hard for him to hide from the other man. He was somewhat surprised that he'd bothered given that it would have provided him the perfect opportunity to spend some time with Mark.

"As if I would let you hide out all by yourself," Randy said seeming to have read his mind.

"You just want to pick on me some more," Dave replied and finally made his way to the table where their dinner had been laid out.

He watched Randy shake his head before biting into his tacos and felt the weight of his gaze as he chewed his food. "No one is picking on you," Randy said quietly glancing away from Dave's gaze. "We are all just working toward a common goal even if it is for different reasons."

"And what are your reasons?" Dave managed to ask wincing as it sounded defensive even to his own ears.

"I don't want you to be left alone when I finally leave to be with Mark. I also don't want you to miss out on love because you're afraid you'll lose him." Randy answered quietly and Dave now looked away. They'd never spoken of the end of their relationship before and he'd never imagined that it would happen like this.

He wasn't surprised that Randy understood so completely what was going on in his head. He was pretty sure that they knew each other better than they knew themselves. "Everyone leaves. Why should Paul be any different?"

He ignored the pained expression on Randy's face as he felt the frustration and agony building within him. "I'm still here," Randy pointed out finally and Dave couldn't help but look at him incredulously. "You've been cheating on me since before Wrestlemania!"

Dave pushed away from the table and Randy winced. He hadn't realized Dave had known all along. "How is it that is any different than what you've been doing? You've been in love with Paul for over a year now! I think that you're just mad because I had the guts to go after what I wanted and you're too scared to take the first step."

Dave felt his rage burst in his chest like a balloon popping and before he knew it Randy was pressed against the wall with the table overturned behind them. "The difference is you godddamn brat that I never would have cheated on you, not even if I had the chance. This may not have been some great love, but it was important to me! It was important and you just took a crap all over it. You didn't even have the balls to tell me until you felt safe because Paul's actin' like he gives a fuck this week! Well tell me somthin' you ungrateful little bitch, if I couldn't trust you why the hell should I trust him? Tell me that Randy! Tell me that!"

Dave pulled Randy away from the wall then slammed him into it again letting him crumble to the floor and stomped out of the room not pausing to see if Randy was hurt, unconscious, or dead. All he cared about was getting away from the man who betrayed him.
