Chapter 2

The Ears of the Undertaker



Afton decided to go against Vince's orders and talk with the Undertaker. He didn't seem to mind. As he worked on his stuff for each show she would talk and talk and every once and awhile he would look up and comment. He actually talked the most around her and that wasn't very often.

"One of my favourite horror movies is Dawn of the Dead, those zombies just kill me." Undertaker looked up from getting his new painted coffin ready for the show and said, "How so?"

"It's funny they climb escalators, play hockey, fall down, get robbed." Undertaker chuckled at this, he didn't smile but once in awhile Afton said something that made him chuckle.

"Hmmm horror movies you shouldn't be watching them." Said Paul Bearer.

"And why the hell not?"

"You're a kid."

"I'm 15 that's not a kid."

"Leave her alone Paul." Undertaker said not looking up from what he was doing.

"You heard the dude leave me alone Paul."

"Dude?" Undertaker asked.

"Ya you know male that's what you are a dude." Undertaker looked down (you know where girls figure it out).

"Ya I'm a male."

"See Dude."

"Dude." Undertaker couldn't fathom this but still he sure liked it when Afton talked for a 15 year old she had a lot of interesting things to say. Vince came in.

"Afton-."

"I know do your homework."

"Yeah."

"Bye Undertaker dude." He raised his head and nodded. Vince saw the slight chuckle from his mouth. She left.

"Is she being a bug?" Undertaker looked back down to work.

"No."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah."

"Nobody here knows what kind of person you are for real. That you are for real a dark kind of person so be careful what you tell Afton she's very impressionable."

"She's different." Stated the Undertaker.

"How did you know?"

"Just did."

"I'm turning you to face so you could go against Jake the Snake and Macho Man, I wanted to know if you would mind doing a storyline with Afton?"

"No."

"No you wouldn't mind or no you don't want to?"

"No."

"Not helping."

"We'll get back to you." Said Paul pushing Vince out the door. After he left Paul Said.

"No you don't mind?""Right.""Why didn't you tell him that?"

"He's the boss he should figure it out."

"Ok I'll let him know." So they got back to Vince, Vince told Afton but the deal was finish her math homework. She hated it she was no good at it. Undertaker came in and watched her over her shoulder.

"I give up."

"Do your homework." He said.

"But?" He pointed at her book. She went back to work. Undertaker sat down to watch. Vince came in the room.

"Afton I said do your math."

"I am."

"Is she?" Asked Vince to the Undertaker.

"Yes." Said Undertaker.

"How did you get her to do that without her starting an argument with you."

"Told her to do her homework."

"Yeesh she doesn't listen to me.""You don't listen to her."

"Quiet I'm trying to do this crap." Undertaker pointed to the door and Vince left.

"I'll be d**ned." Said Vince to himself. So they turned Undertaker face. Macho Man and Hogan had a thing for Miss Elizabeth and Jake the Snake wanted a piece of the Undertaker. Afton was supposed to get in the middle to help Miss Elizabeth when Hogan and Macho Man was supposed to grab her arms and like pull her back and forth like she was taffy. Jake the Snake was going to hit Undertaker with a chair. Undertaker turned around grabbed the chair and went to hit Jake, Hogan and Macho Man. Miss Elizabeth ran, he hit Hogan and Macho Man and carried Afton to the back, leaving all the fans to wonder who the hell was that girl. The following night it was announced that she was a relative of the boss. As time wore on Vince had Afton do mini appearance storylines with the Undertaker. Even when he went back to playing heel one such incident Vince was having a meeting with Afton and Undertaker.

"I want you to tombstone Afton in the ring." Afton was about to say something but Undertaker looked up from his casket building and said:

"No."

"What do you mean no?"

"No."

"I'm the boss d**n it!"

"So."

"Oy I can't get a decent answer out of you. You're a heel again you have to turn on Afton."

"No."

"You want Afton to turn heel?"

"You're the boss."

"What the hell is that supposed to mean?"

"Just what it means." Said Paul pushing Vince out again.

"Thanks." Said Afton.

"Ok." Said Undertaker. They ended up turning Undertaker heel but slowly brought her out of the storylines for the time being so she could study for finals. When Vince asked if she was studying, she hid the heavy metal magazine she was reading and brought her book and said,

"Yes." She brought the magazine back out when he was gone. Undertaker came in and saw her reading the magazine.

"Do your homework." He took the magazine away from her.

"Ok." She reluctantly did it. He left with the magazine. Vince saw him leave with it.

"Why does she listen to you and not me?"

"Because-."

"Oh I know I don't listen to her right?"

"Right." Undertaker went away. make of it.
