"I've been too soft but not anymore. The monster is looking for a sacrifice." That same night Kane went after anyone that would stay still and even if they didn't stay still.



The following week Stacy Keibler and Miss Jackie were in the ring when Kane came into dismantle Rico. He backed the two girls into two seperate corners and looked at them. They looked afraid and he smiled evilly at them.



The next week Kane saw Matt and Lita talking at a table sharing a coke (the drink) and holding hands. Kane went to the boiler room.

"I know who my sacrifice will be and I know why."



Matt went against an opponent that night with the newly reformed Matt and Lita back together she was by his side. Kane came out and destroyed Matt. Kane backed Lita into a corner and sniffed her. He cupped her chin and kissed her, she got the hell out of the ring.



That night before Lita got to Matt's hotel room Matt got a message delivered to the door.

"It would be in your best interest to meet me tomorrow before the house show. Kane." Matt crumpled it and threw it away. Lita showed up. She gave Matt a kiss.

"Hey babe." She said.

"Hey, what did Kane want when I was out of it?"

"How did you know?"

"Some of the guys told me he tried to kiss you."

"That's all he wanted, I got away before he got a chance to why?"

"Just asking."

"Ok."



The next day Matt met Kane where he wanted to meet him in the boiler room at the arena.

"Why do you keep going down here?" Asked Matt.

"I like the dark."

"What do you want Kane?"

"You."

"What do you mean me?"

"I mean you. I'm in love with you."

"I'm flattered Kane but you never took any notice before and I have Lita."

"I know you have her. I want you."

"She wouldn't want me to leave her."

"I'm willing to share."

"How will I tell her?"

"Let me handle this. You and I will be together."

"I don't want Lita hurt." Kane came behind Matt and put his arms around him.

"She won't be hurt love trust me." Matt turned around and looked at Kane.

"I trust you." Kane backed him into the wall and french kissed him. Then he cupped Matt's chin with one hand.

"Go along with whatever I do."

"Ok."

"And do as I say."

"Ok."

"Then my love we will be together and I will have my sacrifice."

"Lita?"

"Yes but I will not harm her."

"But I want you Kane."

"You will have me if you do as I say." Matt nodded his throat too dry for words.



The next week Lita got kissed by Kane. As Kane demolished Stevie Richards he then quickly made it to the back. Lita was shown on screen.

"Matt I don't love you anymore please..... I can't do this." She looked up. Kane bent near her and nodded at the screen, Matt gave him a signal with his fingers. Kane put his finger on Lita's lips.

"You shouldn't have done that Lita."

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" She screamed.



Matt found a note in the boiler room.

"I told you she wouldn't be hurt, trust me, keep going on with it. Kane"

"Matt!" Screamed Lita over and over. Matt found Lita.

"Where is he?"

"He's gone untie me." She begged and he did. Matt held her all the while thinking of Kane and how soon that he and Kane will be together. He just didn't want Lita hurt in the process.
